The Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic programmes in International Relations of the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), Colombo was held on Saturday, 15 March 2025 at the BCIS ‘Olympus’ from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
BCIS Alumni members, Mrs. Renuka Jayasundara, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Child and Women Abuse, Investigation, and Prevention Division and Dr. Samitha Hettige, Head of Academic Affairs at Bandaranaike Academy of Leadership and Public Policy (BALPP) shared their enriching learning experiences with the audience.
Mrs. Priyanthi Fernando, Executive Director/BCIS and Dr. Bhagya Senaratne, Director of Education, BCIS addressed the students. Approximately 120 students who enrolled for the Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in International Relations participated at this event.
