The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) proudly hosted the Inauguration Ceremony of the Language and Cultural Studies programme for the academic year 2026 (A) on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the BCIS Auditorium.
This special occasion marked the beginning of a new academic journey for students enrolled in the language programmes offered by BCIS, aimed at enhancing global language proficiency and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
We were honored to welcome our Chief Guest, Ms. Narae Baek, Second Secretary and Cultural & Educational Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Her insightful and inspiring remarks highlighted the importance of language learning in fostering intercultural dialogue, mutual respect, and stronger international partnerships.
BCIS remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing a globally connected, culturally aware, and linguistically diverse community through high-quality language education.
