A lecture on ‘Sri Lanka and the Persian Gulf Region: Opportunities Unexplored,’ by Ambassador O.L. Ameerajwad, Director General/ Performance Review and Implementation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, was held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Olympus Auditorium of the BCIS under the BCIS Public Lecture series.
Ms. Shayani Jayasinghe, Research Officer of the BCIS delivered the welcome remarks and Dr. Minna Thaheer, Director of the BCIS served as the moderator of the session. Professor Emeritus Gamini Keerawella, Executive Director of the BCIS presented a token of appreciation to the speaker for his valuable contributions.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session where the audience engaged in a vibrant discussion with the speaker.
