The first lecture of the BCIS Global Transformations Lecture series for 2021 and the first ever virtual lecture of this series, was held on Saturday, 22nd May 2021 from 12.00p.m. to 1.30 p.m. via Zoom titled, “India’s Emerging Strategic Choices and its Regional Impact”.The lecture was delivered by Prof Rajesh Rajagopalan from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Approximately 150 participants joined the lecture.BCIS is profoundly thankful to Prof Rajagopalan, from the prestigious Centre for International Politics, Organisation and Disarmament (CIPOD), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, for the insightful lecture on the competition and challenges India faces today and its consequences for smaller states in the region.Dr Minna Thaheer, Director,BCIS, chaired the event hosted by the International Relations Teaching Unit of the BCIS. This series intends to broaden insights of students on the implications of critical global and political transformations. It is especially expected to benefit those following our Higher Diploma and /Post-Graduate Degree programmers in BCIS’ International Relations courses ,
