The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) proudly hosted the Inauguration Ceremony of the Language Programmes on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the BCIS Auditorium.
This special event marked the beginning of a new academic journey for students enrolled in thirteen language programmes offered by BCIS, designed to enhance global language proficiency and promote cross-cultural understanding.
We were honored to welcome our Chief Guest and delighted to have Ms. Bina Gandhi Deori, Deputy Director of the SAARC Cultural Centre, as the Guest of Honor. Their insightful and inspiring remarks emphasized the vital role of language learning in fostering intercultural dialogue and strengthening international relations.
