Author Talk at BCIS – 25th September 2025
✨ An inspiring evening at the BCIS Library! ✨
On 25th September 2025, the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) Library organized an engaging Author Talk featuring two distinguished speakers. Mr. T. Sanathanan presented his work “Migrated Style/Connected Histories: Murals in Jaffna”, while Ms. Hasini Haputhanthri discussed her publication “Shared Sanctities”, with the session moderated by Ms. Pamudu Tennakoon.
The discussion explored intersections, parallels, and paradoxes between the North and South of Sri Lanka, focusing on themes of history, memory, identity, art, and culture. It opened fresh perspectives and sparked meaningful dialogue, highlighting the significance of shared heritage and cultural continuities.
