The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) and the Iran Cultural Center, affiliated with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, 12th June 2025, at the BCIS premises, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07.
The agreement marks the commencement of a formal collaboration to offer Persian language programmes at the BCIS. This partnership aims to foster greater cultural exchange and promote linguistic and educational ties between Sri Lanka and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
