The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) successfully held the Inauguration Ceremony of its Language Programmes on Saturday, April 26, 2025,at the BCIS Auditorium.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, with H.E. İskender Okyay, First Resident Ambassador of Türkiye to Sri Lanka, attending as Guest of Honour, and Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi, Cultural Counsellor at the Iran Cultural Centre, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, serving as Chief Guest.
Opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Bhagya Senaratne, Director, Education, BCIS, who welcomed the guests and participants.
The BCIS Language Programmes offer a wide range of language courses aimed at empowering individuals through communication and cross-cultural understanding, contributing to the Centre’s broader mission of promoting international studies and cooperation.
