The BCIS Library organized a Special Lecture titled “The Role of Reading in Shaping Futures in an Interconnected World” on 25th October 2024 at the BCIS Auditorium. This enlightening session featured esteemed speakers Dr. Madhubhashini Disanayake Ratnayake, Senior Lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and Dr. Preethi Liyanage, President of the Sri Lanka Library Association and Librarian/Registrar, CFPS Law School, Both speakers shared profound insights into the transformative role of reading in today’s interconnected global society, underscoring its impact on shaping informed, future-ready citizens.
