The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) held a panel discussion at the launch of ‘The Routledge Companion to Sinhala Fiction from Postwar Sri Lanka: Resistance and Reconfiguration’ edited and translated by Dr. Madhubhashini Disanayaka Ratnayake, as part of the seminar series organized by the BCIS Language and Cultural Studies Division on Saturday, July 08, 2023, at the BCIS Auditorium [The Olympus].
Professor Sasanka Perera, Professor Liyanage Amarakeerthi, Professor Sumathy Sivamohan and Dr. Prabha Manuratne took part as the panelists at the discussion. Professor Saumya Liyanage served as the moderator of the discussion. Professor Jayadeva Uyangoda, Acting Executive Director of the BCIS also participated at the event. Dr. Minna Thaheer, Director of the BCIS, delivered the welcome address.
