The Discussion on “Russia – Ukraine War: Implications for South Asia” which was organized under the BCIS Discussion Series on Current Global Issues 2023, was successfully held on Wednesday, 07th June 2023 at the Olympus Auditorium of the BCIS.
Prof. Sumanasiri Liyanage, co-cordinator of Marx School and a fellow of the Solomon Asch Center for Ethnopolitical Conflict, University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Harinda Vidanage, Director, Centre for Strategic Assessment at the Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Mr. Prasad Dodangodage, Assiatant Director, English News and International Affairs, Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation served as the panelists of the session.
Prof. Emeritus Amal Jayawardana, Acting Executive Director of the BCIS and Member of the BCIS Academic Board and Council of Management delivered the welcome address and served as the moderator of the panel discussion.
The discussion was followed by an interactive session where the audience engaged in a vibrant discussion with the speakers.
