The Awards Ceremony of the first batch of participants who successfully completed the Leaders for the 21st Century course offered by the BCIS Youth Leadership Academy was held at the Olympus Auditorium of the BCIS on September 17, 2022. The Chairperson of the BCIS, HE Madam Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The Chairperson engaged in an interactive session with the participants in the morning where they expressed their views on various issues confronting the youth in the present context.
It was followed by the distribution of awards and certificates by the Chairperson to participants who successfully completed the above course.
The Director/ CEO of the BMICH, Mr. Sunil Dissanayake, Senior Director of BCIS, Ambassador Sumith Nakandala, Director of BCIS , Dr. Minna Thaheer, CAO and Registrar of BCIS , Mr. Wasantha Manthripala and all the trainers of the BCIS Youth Leadership Academy were present at the above event.
