Nuit des Idees [Night of Ideas]: Reconciliation in Practice was successfully held on January 26, 2021 at the BCIS Auditorium.Dr. Mario Gomez, International Centre for Ethnic Studies – ICES Director, Dr. Radhika Coomaraswamy, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Dr. Paikiasorthy Saravanamuttu, Executive Director of the Centre for Policy Alternatives, and Shreen Abdul Saroor, Peace and Women Activist were the speakers at this event.The event was held under the auspicious of H.E. Mr Eric LAVERTU, Ambassador of France in Sri Lanka and the Maldives and Dr. Minna Thaheer, Director / BCIS also addressed this gathering.This event was organized by the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies, the International Centre for Ethnic Studies – ICES and the Alliance Française de Kotte, with the support of Institut Français.
