The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), in collaboration with the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS), cordially invites you to the Prof. Shelton U. Kodikara Oration 2026, a distinguished annual lecture honoring the legacy of one of Sri Lanka’s foremost scholars of international relations.
This year’s oration, “Once and the Future World Order: What Comes after US Hegemony?”, will be delivered by Professor Amitav Acharya, Distinguished Professor at the School of International Service, American University, Washington, DC, USA, and one of the world’s leading scholars in international relations.
As the global balance of power continues to evolve, this timely lecture will examine the shifting dynamics of world politics, the future of international order, and the emergence of new centers of influence beyond traditional hegemonic structures.
