BCIS warmly invites you to Politics & Popcorn a creative learning initiative exploring the powerful intersection of cinema and international politics. More than just a film screening, this interactive session will unpack how global politics shapes and is shaped by the world of film.
For our inaugural session, we will screen Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat by Johan Grimonprez a gripping documentary that connects the Cold War, Congo’s independence struggle, and legendary jazz icons like Louis Armstrong in one extraordinary political story.
