Join this engaging short course on Empowering Learners for the Future: Student-Centered Teaching, offered by the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS).

The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) will offer the short course Empowering Learners for the Future: Student-Centered Teaching, building on its continued commitment to advancing education and academic practice.

Facilitated by Professor Emerita Lani Gunawardena of the University of New Mexico, the course will explore innovative approaches to student-centered teaching, focusing on enhancing learner engagement, effective course design, and the use of technology in education. It will also address contemporary challenges in teaching and learning, highlighting the evolving role of educators in shaping future-ready learners.

Conducted in a hybrid mode, the programme provides flexibility for participants to join either in person or online, while gaining practical insights to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes.
