Decoloniality: Undoing Colonial Power and Knowledge

The enduring influence of colonialism on global power relations, knowledge production, and institutional structures underscores the need for a critical re-evaluation and transformative approaches to these systems.

At BCIS, our Decoloniality: Undoing Colonial Power and Knowledge course invites participants to critically examine the assumptions that shape our understanding of the world and the way knowledge is produced. This program explores decolonial concepts, practices, and approaches to transforming institutions, offering a thought-provoking learning experience for scholars, professionals, and all those seeking to challenge dominant narratives.

Led by Prof. Kiran K. Grewal (Visiting Professor, Dept. of Gender Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science), this course combines academic insight with practical perspectives on decolonisation.
