The Inauguration Ceremony of the International Relations Programmes (Diploma/Higher Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma) of the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), Colombo was held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Olympus Auditorium of the BCIS.
His Excellency Majed Mosleh, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Executive Director and Member of the BCIS Board of Academic Affairs Prof. Gamini Keerawella, Head, Department of International Relations (University of Colombo) and member of the BCIS academic faculty, Prof. Chaminda Padmakumara, Director General of the SWRD Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation, Mr. Manuja Kariapperuma, Director of BCIS, Dr. Minna Thaheer, Registrar/CAO of BCIS, Mr. Wasantha Manthripala ,Programme Executive Ms Mahesha Pathirana-Soysa, and Ms. Sanduni Lakshika, Diploma Program Coordinator and other members of the IR Division were also present at the event.
