an interactive session between Professor Pratap Bhanu Mehta, Former Vice Chancellor, Ashoka University, India and Sri Lankan researchers on&nbsp;&nbsp;\u2018Researching Democracy: Ideas for an Agenda for South Asia\u2019&nbsp;at the Olympus Auditorium of the BCIS on September 11, 2023.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The session was moderated by members of the Board of Academic Affairs of the BCIS, Professor Emeritus Jayadeva Uyangoda and Dr. Athulasiri Samarakoon.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The participants engaged in a vibrant discussion with Professor Pratap Bhanu Mehta on issues and problems that constitute a research agenda on&nbsp;the&nbsp;histories, experiences, complexities, trends, and future directions of democracy in South Asia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
