The third virtual ‘BCIS Global Transformations Lecture’ for 2021 was held on Saturday, <\/strong> September 11, 2021 from <\/strong>1<\/strong>2<\/strong>.<\/strong>0<\/strong>0 <\/strong>hrs<\/strong>. to 13.30 hrs<\/strong>, via Zoom titled, “Bangladesh at 50: Internal Transformation and External Outreach<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was delivered by Dr<\/strong>.<\/strong> Sufia Khanom,<\/strong> Senior Research Fellow, <\/strong>Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), Dhaka, Bangladesh<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The High Commissioner of Bangladesh His Excellency Tareq Md Ariful Islam also graced the event and took part in the discussions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Minna Thaheer, Director, Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), chaired the event hosted by the International Relations Teaching Unit of the BCIS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Mahesha \u00a0Soysa, Coordinator of IR courses at BCIS, proposed the vote of thanks at the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
