Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Programmes of the BCIS Academic Year 2016 was held on Saturday 10th September 2016 @the BCIS Auditorium.
The Chief Guest of the event Madam Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga , chairperson /S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation(BNMF) ,Guest of Honor ,the High Commissioner of Canada in Sri Lanka H.E. Ms. Shelley Whiting addressed the New Academic batch 7 the Key note address on “Challenges of Terrorism in the 21st Century” was delivered by Mr. Tissa Jayatilaka,the Executive Director of the Bi- national United States- Sri Lanka Fullbright Commission of Mutual Academic Exchange.

The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) is ushering in the new year by celebrating the graduation of its 2014 Batches for the International Relations Programme. 122 students from the Certificate course, 238 students from the bi-lingual Diploma courses, 34 students from the Higher Diploma course and 39 students from the flagship Postgraduate Diploma course will be graduating at the BCIS.
